The luckiest weekend of the year starts this Friday. St Patrick's Day celebrations are livening up the days in the Bay with exciting nighttime pub crawls in accompaniment. Oakland Restaurant Week is bringing our palates to life, and Women's History Month is bringing us film screenings with perspective and perseverance. Weekends in the Bay can always be memorable but this weekend, a few Guinness may make you see things in green and gold - so don't forget your Clipper card. Head to the 174th annual San Francisco St. Patrick's Day parade and festival on Saturday. Come together to unite, embrace and honor all the unique cultural groups across the city. At the end of the parade, stick around for one huge celebration at UN Plaza that includes live music, dance, arts and food from the people and cultures of this fantastic city. Find the beginning of this treasured parade just 0.1 miles from Montgomery St with the festival 0.1 miles from Civic Center/UN Plaza Station.

The California Symphony performs "Mozart Serenades" showcasing the unique and individual sounds of woodwinds, brass and percussion in this production of combined programs including Richard Strauss’ lively "Serenade," Mozart’s sparkling “Gran Partita” and music by American maverick composer, Lou Harrison. Concertmaster Jennifer Cho will be featured in his rhythmic "Concerto for Violin" with five percussionists. Hear the magic 0.4 miles from the Walnut Creek Station.

Celebrate the City of Dublin’s 40th anniversary St. Patrick’s Day Festival with three stages of Irish music and dance, authentic Irish food and drinks, an Irish Marketplace that includes roaming leprechauns and bagpipers, carnival rides and an Irish Tea Cottage. Keep an eye out for a special 200-drone light show to commemorate this anniversary occasion. Don't forget to wear green! Find the celebration 0.4 miles from West Dublin/Pleasanton.

"KOOZA" is an innovative journey viewed through the perspective of The Innocent, an endearing yet naïve clown looking for his place in the world. This ride is approachable as it is mostly on separated trails, primarily flat and will be no-drop (the group will ride together there and back). If you’ve been wanting to bike the Bay Bridge but haven’t worked up to it, then this is your chance. Check out the route here. You'll find the group starting point in the parking lot at Macarthur.
Join a class with energetic and charismatic dance instructors that have taught across India, the U.S. and Europe. In this class, you'll learn an all-levels combination of a 60-minute Bollywood and Bhangra dance lesson that will leave you feeling loved, lighter and delighted in excitement. Cereal Cinema is the New Parkway's offering of family-friendly fun, accompanied by an all-you-can-eat cereal bar. They'll have classic cartoons from decades past on the screen, none announced until the actual show, but all PG or G equivalency. Ride the Saturday morning sugar high 0.5 miles from 19th St/Oakland.
Holi is also known as the "Festival of Colors" or the "Festival of Love." This musical event will include live performances from renowned DJs and a color carnival with splashes and bursts of colored powder/water that are non-toxic, water-soluble and environment friendly. The Kills have emerged as international rock stars, setting the pace for the genre, shaping this era’s sound and redefining what rock music can be in the 21st century. The Duo has toured with legends like Guns N' Roses and worked with Grammy Award-winning producers like Paul Epworth. Bandmember and vocals, Alison Mosshart, says about their new music “This is a diary entry of seven years. It’s a canvas of time for us.” Catch the show 0.1 miles from 19th St/Oakland.
Going strong for over 10 years, the St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl brings together thousands of fun people to the best bars in San Francisco for a bar crawl like no other.
