The Bay is bringing family fun to the main stage this weekend. Head out to the Ferry Building this Saturday to enjoy the Edible Excursions tour, or watch "A Strange Loop" at the American Conservatory Theater. In the heart of the Mission District, Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros will spotlight SF's Latinx community and the power of literature. Oakland Roots soccer team is bringing culture to the field against the Colorado Springs Switchbacks and Telegraph Ave in Berkeley will be "popping" for Telegraph Boba Day. Head out to 826 Valencia's eighth annual Storytellers' Showcase! Students from 826 Valencia's programs in the Mission, Tenderloin and Mission Bay neighborhoods will read their original writings for their families and community. The young authors have been reflecting on the theme "Write Here, Write Now." Hear their powerful, joyful expressions from the stage. The event will have family-friendly activities and live music from funk duo Tall Tee and BART will be in attendance as well. Celebrate with the community 0.4 miles from Powell St.

Mr. Rogers will join the Bay Area in spirit for Be My Neighbor Day at Parque Ninos Unidos. Be My Neighbor Day brings the beloved world of Mr. Rogers to Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros (Children's Day/Book Day), a long-running celebration of children and books that uplifts Latinx literacy in the heart of the Mission. This year, more than thirty local organizations will attend the festival at El Parque Niños Unidos to celebrate a day of festivities promoting literacy. Families will receive free multilingual books, participate in crafts and enjoy performances by children’s favorites such as Daniel Tiger and more. Take BART to 24th St Mission and head 0.4 miles to Parque Ninos Unidos.
