Say hello to BART and goodbye to retiring Giants manager Bruce Bochy this weekend as the G-men take on the Dodgers in what's sure to be an emotional series... #ThankYouBoch. Not a baseball fan? We show you where the biggest names in hip-hop will be, where to see world-class dragon boat racing, and plenty of other events that should be on your radar.

San Francisco Map Fair by Powell St
Calling all map aficionados - this is your event. The San Francisco Map Fair will be held at The Lodge in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. It will consist of three 40 minute lectures followed by a 10 minute Q & A period. The mission of the California Map Society to preserve and disseminate historical and contemporary cartography, primarily of California, for members as well as the general public. Tickets vary in price and can be found here. Take BART to Powell St and walk five minutes to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

Rooftop Swing Dance Party by Montgomery St
Dust off your dancing shoes and add some swing to your step with Swing in the Sky at Salesforce Park. The free dance party will happen from 5-7pm. Don't want to dance? Check out the park's 13 different botanical features, walk along the trail, or hang out on the grassy lawns that are 70 feet above Grand Hall. Take BART to Montgomery St and walk seven minutes to Salesforce Park.

Rolling Loud Festival by Coliseum
Some of the biggest names in hip-hop and rap are coming to the Bay for Rolling Loud, a Miami music festival that has made its way to the West Coast. Saturday’s headliners are Travis Scott, Meek Mill and the Wu-Tang Clan, and Sunday’s headliners are Lil Uzi Vert and A$AP Rocky. Take BART to Coliseum and walk about four minutes to the Oakland Coliseum.
Northern California Dragon Boat Festival by Lake Merritt
Cheer on the fleet of colorful 40-foot dragon boats as teams from all over Northern California race to the beat of Chinese drums on Saturday and Sunday. Experience world-class dragon boat racing, spectacular cultural performances, delicious food and a variety of vendors. Admission is free. The fun happens from 10am to 5pm both Saturday and Sunday. Take BART to Lake Merritt and walk eight minutes to the lake.
Freight Fest by Downtown Berkeley
Head out to Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse for an all-day FREE music festival – a party on the street and inside our venue with multiple stages, food trucks, and family-friendly activities – on Saturday from 10:45am to 6pm. Take BART to Downtown Berkeley and walk three minutes to 2020 Addison St.
Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community? by 12th St/Oakland City Center
The Barbara Lee & Elihu Harris Lecture Series presents Ari Berman, an expert in voter rights and voter suppression, speaking at the Oakland Marriott City Center on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7pm. Berman is the author of the book, Give Us the Ballot: The Modern Struggle for Voting Rights in America. Call (510) 434-3988 to RSVP.
