We asked our riders how our staff's efforts have a positive impact on the BART experience. The responses poured in and we'd like to share some of these stories. Here are ten of our favorites.

The Great Highway is open to vehicular traffic during weekdays and closed for non-vehicle recreation during extended weekend hours. Motorists may use the roadway from 6am Mondays until noon Fridays, when it will then close for pedestrians and bicyclists until the following Monday morning at 6am. On holidays, the Great Highway will also be closed to vehicular traffic. Find the full schedule.

A large construction project is now underway in southern Alameda County. Crews are replacing critical trackway components between the South Hayward and Union City BART stations as well as advancing preliminary work to create a new storage facility at the Hayward Maintenance Complex for hundreds of Fleet of the Future cars.
