Levi's Plaza with Off the Grid | Montgomery St

Every week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday, you can find a wide selection of food trucks at Levi's Plaza Market, including, amongst many others, The Chairman. Recently hailed as one of the best food trucks in the city by San Francisco magazine, The Chairman specializes in baked/steamed buns with tender pork belly, coca-cola braised pork, spicy chicken and more. Other popular food trucks at Levi's Plaza include Curry Up Now, Buri Buri and Cousins Maine Lobster. Take BART to Montgomery St to enjoy a meal with views of Coit Tower 0.9 miles away at Levi's Plaza.

Salesforce Tower with Off the Grid | Montgomery

Grab lunch near the Transbay Terminal Monday through Friday from a rotating food truck selection at Salesforce Plaza. While there's a quality selection to choose from, one of our favorite food trucks is Senor Sisig. Known for spooning Sisig into burritos, tacos and atop nachos, their food is full of flavor. More famous finds include Momo Noodle and Bacon Bacon. After lunch, ride the gondola to enjoy a stroll in the park. Take BART to Montgomery St for Filipino fusion food and more 0.3 miles to 415 Mission St.

Roli Roti | Embarcadero

Roli Roti serves slow cooked, seasonal, fresh from the garden food, like rotisserie chicken, potatoes, salad, Brussell sprouts and more. Find Roli Roti on Tuesday and Saturday mornings at the San Francisco Ferry Building. Take BART to Embarcadero to find delicious eats 0.2 miles away at 1 Ferry Building. More BARTable locations include the San Leandro Library on Wednesday afternoons (0.6 miles from San Leandro Station), the downtown Berkeley's Farmer's Market on Saturdays (0.2 miles from Downtown Berkeley). El Gallo Giro | 24th St Mission

Elena Caballero and her husband Jose Perez started serving tacos from their El Gallo Giro truck over 22 years ago. This Mission neighborhood favorite is one of the longest-running taco trucks in the city. Known for their carnitas and Guanajuato-style chicharrones, you really can't go wrong with anything on this menu. Take BART to 24th St Mission to visit El Gallo Giro 0.4 miles away at 986-998 Treat Ave.

East Bay

Taco Sinaloa | Fruitvale

This classic family-owned and operated food truck in the East Bay serves delicious, authentic Mexican food. Taco Sinaloa is known for its tacos and burritos, which are loaded with flavorful meat and fresh ingredients. It's the perfect spot for a tasty bite, no matter what time of day. Take BART to Fruitvale to order from this excellent menu 1 mile away at 2138 International Blvd.

Another family-owned business, Aguachiles El Tamarindo specializes in seafood. Expect Baja fish, ceviches, shrimp tacos, aguachiles and much more. Their carne asada and non-traditional items, like the Hot Cheetos Burritos, are also tasty. Take BART to Fruitvale for tasty seafood 0.4 miles away at 3053 International Blvd.

Friday nights at OMCA with Off the Grid | Lake Merritt

Head to OMCA every Friday at 5 p.m. for live music, fun activities, late night access to museum exhibits and most importantly, Off the Grid food trucks. You'll find a rotating schedule of culinary options on 10th Street between Oak and Fallon Streets. Famous guests include Curry Up Now, Marley's Treats, Momolicious and more! Oakland First Fridays | 19th St/Oakland

This free and family-friendly monthly event attracts thousands of attendees. Luckily, there are plenty of food trucks to keep them satisfied. Join the community in the KONO District on the first Friday of every month to experience local artists and treat yourself to a wide selection of popular food trucks. Take BART to 19th St/Oakland to celebrate community, art and food trucks 0.4 miles away at Telegraph Ave. (between 22nd and 27th St.).

Fremont Street Eats | Fremont

Families will find eight to ten of the Bay Area's best food trucks at Fremont Street Eats every Friday. Hosted by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Food Truck Mafia, there are new food trucks every week, a beer selection every month, wine, hard seltzers and a weekly drawing and prizes for attendees. Grab a delicious dinner and relax on the grass while grooving to live entertainment. Take BART to Fremont Station for a fun food truck festival 0.8 miles away at 3500 Capitol Ave.

The Berryessa Night Market has a wide variety of food trucks on site to feed hungry visitors every Friday night. Expect everything from Korean to Hawaiian and everything in between. Past food truck vendors include Chick N' Bros, Junior's Roaster, Mister Softee, Tiaxiaco's Pizza, Taqueria La Suprema and more. Off the Grid: Shops at Tanforan | San Bruno

Head to San Bruno on Tuesdays from 5 – 8 p.m. and find some of the Bay Area's best food trucks near BART.
