It's a busy weekend in the Bay Area. Whether you’re in the mood for baseball and block parties in Oakland or night markets and live theater in San Francisco, there’s something for everyone. From free events like the Temescal Street Fair to big-ticket shows like "& Juliet" at the Orpheum Theatre, here are the top BARTable attractions to enjoy this weekend. Yerba Buena Gardens Festival
July 11 & 12 | Montgomery St
Times vary | Mission St. between 3rd and 4th Sts.

On Saturday, you’ll find Ka-Hon, a children’s program with pan-American beats and interactive energy. On Sunday, check out Orchestra Gold, a blend of psychedelic rock, funk and West African soul. The entertainment is only 0.3 miles from Montgomery St.

Oakland Ballers v. Mountain Vibes
July 11-13 | West Oakland
Times vary | 1689 20th St.

This weekend, cheer on Oakland’s independent baseball team at Raimondi Park. Friday is Star Wars Night (with free t-shirts to early arrivals), Saturday starts with a 2 p.m. block party and a home run derby before the game, and Sunday is Zoo Day. Take BART to West Oakland. You can either walk 0.9 miles or jump on the Ballers shuttle or AC Transit 29 bus to Raimondi Park.

Temescal Street Fair

The Temescal Street Fair is back this weekend in the Bay, and you don’t want to miss it! There will be three stages showcasing live music, an artisan marketplace, fantastic food and a children’s zone. Shop, dine, drink and dance 0.4 miles from MacArthur.

Schwabacher Summer Concert: "It’s Complicated—Love & Opera"

2 p.m. |  50 Oak St.

Revel in the sheer joy of opera as the 2025 Merola artists deliver a breathtaking evening of vocal fireworks and lush melodies accompanied by the San Francisco Opera Center Orchestra. The Shotgun Players “The Magnolia Ballet”

Chinatown Night Market

Stroll the beautiful lantern-lined Grant Avenue this Friday at the Chinatown Night Market. Happening every second Friday, the streets will be filled with local merchants, bustling shoppers, live entertainment and the aroma of tasty cuisine. Take BART to Montgomery St to join the celebration, just 0.5 miles away.

“Bastille on Belden” French Bastille Day Block Party

Hosted by the Downtown SF Partnership, Bastille on Belden is a free-to-attend event featuring French food and wine, live French music, mime performances and complimentary berets (while supplies last). Exit BART at Montgomery St and head 0.2 miles to Belden Place for French fun. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register here.

Minted SF: Weekly Downtown Night Market & Festival
