Alamo Drafthouse Cinema | 24th St Mission

This restored, historic 1920s theater offers a modern moviegoer experience. Catch a new release while ordering food and drinks delivered directly to your seat, including burgers, pizzas, salads, cocktails and draft beer. If you love the Alamo Drafthouse as much as we do, opt for the Season Pass for unlimited movies. Take BART to 24th St Mission for dinner and a movie 0.3 miles away at 2550 Mission St.

The Roxie | 16th St Mission

One of the oldest continuously running cinemas in the country, The Roxie Theater opened in 1912 but wasn’t officially named The Roxie until 1933. Filmgoers can catch documentaries, independent films, old classics and film festivals at this historic landmark. Sometimes, they invite filmmakers, curators or entertainers to interact with audiences. They serve Ritual Coffee, Golden State Cider, Fort Point beer and classic candy. Take BART to 16th St Mission to visit a cinematic gem 0.1 miles away at 3117 16th St.

AMC Metreon 16 | Powell St

This movie theater near BART offers a wide variety of movies. Plus, you can enjoy IMAX with Laser at the AMC Metreon 16. The immersive movie-going experience takes you beyond the standard cinema experience. 21+ can grab a beer or wine at MacGuffins Bar to enjoy with their film. Take BART to Powell St for the ultimate movie magic 0.4 miles away at 135 Fourth St.

Cinemark Century | Daly City and San Bruno

Looking for a fun place to catch a new release? Cinemark has reclining chairs and cutting-edge technology, like Cinemark XD, IMAX and D-BOX. Another bonus: You can use mobile ordering to have drinks and snacks delivered right to your seat! Cinemark Century Daly City 20 XD and IMAX are 0.4 miles from Daly City Station, while Cinemark Century at Tanforan and XD are only 0.2 miles from San Bruno Station.

Catering to filmgoers who like a quiet experience, the Landmark Opera Plaza Cinema has two cozy screening rooms and two larger auditoriums. Popular independent and foreign films often move here for one last engagement before leaving the city. Enjoy traditional movie snacks and drinks (beer, wine and non-alcoholic). Take BART to Civic Center/UN Plaza. It's 0.5 miles away at 601 Van Ness Ave.

Rialto Cinemas | El Cerrito and Rockridge

It’s easy to become a movie lover at Rialto Cinemas. They show everything from Blockbusters to foreign films, classic movies, and special event screenings, like live performances from the National Theatre. These hometown movie theaters are the place to go to see just about anything. Check the schedule for Free Family Matinees and Free Big Screen Classics. Rialto Cinemas El Cerrito is 0.3 miles from El Cerrito Station, while Rialto Cinemas Elmwood is 0.9 miles from Rockridge.

Cine Grand Fremont 7 | Fremont

Want to see the latest Bollywood film in the Bay Area? Cine Grand Fremont 7 screens Hindi, Tamil (and many more) films with English subtitles, plus Hollywood appearances. At his unique, community-minded movie theater near BART in Uptown Oakland, you get the comforts of home while you catch a flick. Choose a cozy couch or a comfy armchair and order traditional movie snacks, like popcorn and candy, or opt for a full dinner. Beer, wine, and cider are also available. The New Parkway Theater screens new and classic films and offers free and fun events, like Bingo & Beer on Tuesdays and Karaoke on Fridays. The Chabot Theater has entertained the community for over 70 years. Since opening in 1950, it’s now the only independent, single-screen theater offering first-run films in the East Bay. Cinemark Century | Bayfair and Hayward

Near BART, Cinemark Century has multiple screens and stadium-style seating. Catch all the latest Hollywood hits while munching on popcorn, sipping soda and savoring candy. You can even get delicious seat-side deliveries.

Cinemark Century Bayfair Mall 16 is only 0.3 miles from Bayfair, while Cinemark Century at Hayward is only 0.4 miles from Hayward Station.

Brenden Theatres | Concord

With 14 screens, the Brendan in Concord offers many film choices. Visit the café on-site for fresh food, craft beer and wine to accompany your popcorn and candy. This movie theater near BART is kid-friendly and group-friendly. The auditoriums are large and offer very comfortable reclining seats. Orinda Theatre’s neon tower and bright marquee have been a symbol of entertainment in the East Bay since it opened in 1941.
