Thousands of people come to the Bay yearly for Fleet Week, a pleasantly noisy display of aerial action. Biplanes, stunt pilots, parachutists and the Blue Angels all convene over the Bay against a spectacular backdrop. With activities all week and spectacular airshows from October 4-12, keep your eyes on the skies as the Blue Angels practice in the afternoons above the Bay.

Avoid watching the show sitting in traffic on the Bay Bridge! Take BART to Embarcadero and walk along the waterfront to find the best viewing spot, or head southwest from the pier and climb your favorite hill for a vantage point above the rest. Didn't bring your walking shoes? Take the Muni F-Market & Wharves to Marina Green, or keep going until you hear the sonic booms.
