Explore the Bay in a whole new way with BARTable Missions in the Bay Area Explorer

Organizations all around the Bay Area are coming together to get families exploring, learning, and having fun this summer, and BART riders can join in the fun, too.

The just launched "Bay Area Explorer 3.0 Campaign" will run until September 9. Anyone can join by downloading the free "Agents of Discovery" mobile app and completing “missions”, or games at participating locations. Each mission has educational “challenges” that teach players about local history, culture, ecosystems, and safety.

BART launched two missions for riders that will take you on a fun and educational journey from Lake Merritt to Bay Fair, and Millbrae to Daly City! Jump on the train and head to one of the mission areas to activate the game or play while on your commute. You'll be amazed at what you'll discover!

Other missions offered in the game where you can take BART with a quick connection include Oakland Zoo's California Trail AR Reality Scavenger Hunt, SF Bay Trail, Sign Hill, Sculpture Garden, Hyde Street Pier, and Aquatic Park.

The campaign includes amazing prizes to reward players (“agents”) who participate. Players who complete missions will have the chance to win tickets to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, CuriOdyssey, the Oakland Zoo, and even the San Francisco Giants!
