Cal Bears v. UNC
Oct. 17 | Downtown Berkeley
7:30 p.m. | 2227 Piedmont Ave.
The Cal Bears enter Saturday’s game as the favorites against UNC at Memorial Stadium. With a 4-2 record, Cal has gotten off to a pretty solid start to the season. Catch the action 1.1 miles from Downtown Berkeley. Head east on Center Street and refer to this map for the most direct walking route. Alternatively, catch a free shuttle from Downtown Berkeley BART, which has drop-offs near the stadium. Service runs 2.5 hours before game time and continuously until one hour after kickoff. Service will resume at the start of the fourth quarter for postgame transportation.
Daly City Top of the Hill Festival
Oct. 18 | Daly City Station
11 a.m.–6 p.m. | Mission St. and John Daly Blvd.
Daly City’s biggest community celebration returns with live music, food and fun for all ages. Enjoy performances by Anuhea, Spawnbreezie and more, plus a classic car show, kids’ zone and delicious local eats — all just 0.5 miles from Daly City Station.
"Fury and Heartbreak" at First Congregational Church
Oct. 18 | Downtown Berkeley

What happens when love turns to rage—or when devotion meets betrayal? This concert, performed by the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale, plunges into the fiery world of Italian Baroque music, where emotions run high, strings race furiously, and abandoned lovers make their voices heard. Exit at Downtown Berkeley, and in 0.6 miles, you will hear the music.
Sunday Streets: Excelsior
Oct. 19 | Glen Park or Balboa Park
11 a.m.–4 p.m. | Mission St. between Avalon Ave. and Geneva Ave.
Experience the Excelsior neighborhood, free of cars and full of community-driven, family-friendly activities. Take BART to Balboa Park or Glen Park to join the fun. The Balboa Park Station is 0.5 miles from the southern end of the Sunday Streets route, while the Glen Park Station is about 0.6 miles from the northern end of the route.
“Kim’s Convenience” at the Toni Rembe Theater
