The annual Castro Valley Light Parade, hosted by the Castro Valley/Eden Area Chamber of Commerce, offers plenty of festivities, like live music, yummy food and fun activities for little ones. The 2025 parade theme is “Children are the Future,” and the route closes Castro Valley Blvd from Lake Chabot Rd. to Redwood Rd. The parade begins at dusk, around 5:45 p.m. Find the lights just 0.5 miles from Castro Valley Station.
