We've got a few options for your enjoyment, as we're sure we could all use a little of each right now. Mild weather is in the forecast, so once you've viewed some of our virtual options, it's also a good time to get out and enjoy some fresh air. SFJAZZ "Fridays at Five" with Trumpet Superstar Chris Botti | Virtual

A subtle trumpeter with a sumptuous sound, fluent phrasing and sense of space, Grammy-winning Chris Botti is a master musician equally at home in the realms of jazz and pop. Designed to take you “in the music” the SFJAZZ video series is membership based for a small monthly fee that brings us closer to the music while supporting musicians during COVID. See this Chris Botti performance with guest artists recorded last year at his SFJAZZ sold-out performance on Jan. 10, 2020. Virtual streaming begins at 5pm with memberships available for viewing.

"Crazy Funny Asians" | Virtual

Inspired by the blockbuster movie, see some of the Bay Area’s top comedians at San Francisco’s "Crazy Funny Asians" comedy showcase. Celebrate the Bay’s Asian-American culture and heritage with laughs. It's happening this Friday at 8pm on Zoom. RSVP and you'll get the secret Zoom link right before the show.

San Francisco Croatian Heritage Festival | Virtual

The Croatian American Cultural Center presents its annual festival, virtually. The event is a film festival of sorts and consists of short films that capture the music and dance that are so vital to the Croatian community. The event begins at 6pm and is free.

Black Laughs Matter Comedy Show | Virtual

Laughter is truly the best medicine so immerse yourself and support Black comics as they come together for "Black Laughs Matter," an online comedy show live from San Francisco hosted by comedian and actor Terry Dorsey. The show begins at 8pm and is free with donations welcomed. Tune in for some feel-good chuckles.

John McCutcheon Virtual Left Coast Tour at The Freight | Virtual

Every year in January, American folk music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, John McCutcheon, visits the Bay Area on tour for a post-holiday celebration at Freight & Salvage. By adapting to our “new normal”, it may look a little different this year but he’s back with loads of new songs and stories combined with some of his “older stuff” - virtually. The show streams live at 7pm with tickets starting at $5.

SF Symphony "Throughline" | Virtual

“Throughline: San Francisco Symphony-From Hall to Home” originally aired on KQED in November and is now streaming worldwide for on-demand viewing. The vibrant program includes music by Ellen Reid, John Adams, Kev Choice, and Ludwig van Beethoven written specifically for digital medium and filmed in locations around the world, grounded with a local focus. Streaming is free so, kick back, relax and enjoy the sounds and sights this beautiful piece has to offer!

San Jose Berryessa Flea Market | Multiple dates

The San Jose Berryessa Flea Market is steps from our Berryessa/North San José Station. The Flea Market is a not to be missed San Jose tradition where "one person's junk is another person's treasure." With over 120 acres of shopping, activities, and food vendors, there's bound to be fun around every corner. The market is currently open from Wednesday, Friday-Sunday, 8am-5pm. Walk-in admission is $2-3 depending on which day you go, and the entrance is located near Garden at the Flea and the East Lot.
