"Glow" at the Exploratorium

If you’re looking for last-minute gifts, head to the Castro. This lively night market has plenty of vendors in addition to fantastic drag and comedy performances and live tunes by DJs Juanchii and Nick Moss. Light-up accessories, sequins and your most sparkly attire are encouraged. For a festive evening of local shopping, tasty food and community spirit, head to 16th St Mission. The vibrant market is one mile away.  

Winter Wonderland at Thrive City

Don your favorite holiday attire and take a spin on the ice this weekend at Thrive City. Sessions are free and last between 20-30 minutes. Complimentary skates are included. RSVP to reserve your spot. Here’s the daily weekend schedule:

It’s the last weekend of Winter Walk, and you don't want to miss it! The marketplace is the perfect place to find unique gifts. “Elf” at the San Francisco Symphony

"Graham Lustig’s The Nutcracker”

With music by the Oakland Symphony, and help from the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir, you’ll travel to the Land of Sweets, see the evil Rat King and feel mesmerized by dancing snowflakes. “Reindeer Games” at the People’s Circus Theatre

People's Circus Theatre's tale, "Reindeer Games," is a fun story about how reindeer pass their time while waiting for the big night—Christmas Eve. Tickets start at $25. "Candlelight: Christmas Carols on Strings"
