Happy Labor Day weekend! A lot is happening in the Bay Area this week, so grab your Clipper card and get ready for a busy one. It's the last weekend to enjoy Children's Fairyland 510 Summer Fridays, but it's also the first weekend to see "Wicked" at the Orpheum Theater. The Broadway hit returns and will surely cast a spell on audiences. BART riders can also experience the 53rd Annual Art & Wine Festival in Millbrae, outdoor movies, free museum days and fitness classes, family-friendly activities, an Oakland Roots soccer game, the return of Cal Football and even a festival by vegans for meat lovers!

Children’s Fairyland 510 Summer Fridays

The Bay Area’s favorite storybook-theme park in Oakland offers the final weekend of 510 Summer Fridays, a special discount for Oakland residents ($5 per child, $10 per adult). For over 75 years, Children’s Fairyland has been a place of imagination, exploration and dreams. Catch the Bears in their season opener as they take on the UC Davis Aggies. Don't miss this historic matchup—the twelfth ever meeting between these teams, with the Bears leading the series 11-0! Starting 2.5 hours before the game, pick up the game-day BART shuttle at BART’s Downtown Berkeley Plaza and travel 0.2 miles from the drop-off location to Memorial Stadium.
Oakland Roots v. New Mexico United

Cheer on the Oakland Roots as they take on New Mexico United in Hayward. The Oakland Roots SC is a purpose-driven professional men's soccer team that harnesses the magic of Oakland and the power of sports as a social force for good. Witness them in action as they take that energy onto the pitch. Take BART to Hayward Station and hop on the AC Transit 60 bus to Pioneer Stadium to catch the match.
53rd Annual Millbrae Art & Wine Festival

Check out the Millbrae Art & Wine Festival for one-of-a-kind arts and crafts, live music and entertainment. The downtown area transforms into a spectacular street fair with tons to do. Listen to bands, peruse vendor booths, browse local art, check out the car show and enjoy tasty treats and refreshing beverages. Don't miss Millbrae's end-of-summer celebration 0.5 miles from Millbrae Station.
California Jewish Open

The first major open-call exhibition invites Jewish-identifying artists in California to submit pieces in response to a central question: how are artists looking to the many aspects of Jewish culture, identity and community to foster, reimagine, hold or discover connection? The result? An exhibition of forty-seven artists reflecting on their connection to Judaism, the world and their own history. Expect paintings, sculptures, interactive video games, video works, photographs and more. Witness the exhibition 0.3 miles from Montgomery St.

DRENCHED! Cardio Dance Fitness Class

DRENCHED! is a cardio dance-based class featuring pre-choreographed dance combos. Music genres include Hip Hop, Latin Dance, Dancehall, Afro Dance, Reggaeton and Pop. Family Day: Bricks at Embarcadero Plaza

The entire family will enjoy fun waterfront activities this weekend near BART. Hosted by the Children’s Creativity Museum, there will be plenty of educational play and workshops to explore. This event runs every Saturday through October. Enjoy family fun through the fall 0.1 miles from Embarcadero.
Centennial Community Party at the Claremont Branch Library

The Claremont Branch Library in Berkeley is celebrating its 100th year! All ages are welcome to participate in a hands-on screen-printing activity with Black Stamp Studios, and a Cal Alumni Big Band jazz concert. There will also be light refreshments. Celebrate the centennial with art and music only 1.0 mile from Ashby.

- Asian Art Museum is free on the first Sunday of each month (Sept. 1). Take BART to Civic Center/UN Plaza to witness artwork from all major cultures in Asia only 0.1 miles away at 200 Larkin St.
- Oakland Museum of California is free on the first Sunday of each month (Sept. 1). Take BART to Lake Merritt to enjoy OMCA’s Galleries of California Art, History and Natural Sciences 0.1 miles away at 1000 Oak St.
Labor Day Weekend Free Boat Tram Rides

This holiday weekend, you have two days to hop on San Francisco's beloved Boat Tram, which is offering free rides on Sundays and Mondays through Oct. 14. The Boat Tram is one of three open-air streetcars in Muni's roster, built in the 1930s for the seaside resort of Blackpool, England. The Boat Tram operates on the F Market line between the Ferry Building and Pier 39. Hop on just 0.2 miles from Embarcadero.

4th Annual Bizerkeley Food Festival
