A map can tell a person where to go, where not to go, and how to get there. It orients the viewer in physical space – but also geographic time, chronicling the shifting landscape and the patterns of human motion.
We're now only one month away from BART's 50th anniversary on September 11, 2022. As we near our golden anniversary, we're celebrating our storied history and contributions to the region through storytelling, in-person and virtual events, and of course a contest or two.
