Oakland Athletic's players embrace each other after a win over the Texas Rangers. Photo courtesy Shae Hammond. The Athletics will play their last games in Oakland on Sept. 20-26, and BART is the most convenient way to get to the (almost) sold-out event. Ditch the traffic, skip the parking hassles and arrive at the ballpark ready to root for the home team. BART runs a 5-line service until 9 p.m. and a 3-line service until midnight every day, so you'll have plenty of time to catch a train after the game.

Mission Playground. Photo courtesy of San Francisco Public Works. With year-round temperate weather, the Bay Area is the best place for outdoor adventure. For the young, and the young at heart, there are plenty of playgrounds and splash pads, many of which are conveniently located near BART. From climbable water dragons to a 45-foot-long slide and playgrounds with stunning views and gorgeous murals, here are a few of our favorite BARTable places to play. Pack a picnic, slather on the SPF, grab your Clipper card and enjoy a beautiful day in the sun!
