Oakland-based trumpet star and Blue Note recording artist Ambrose Akinmusire performs a 4-night residency at the SFJAZZ Center. The Mar. 4 show will pay tribute to legendary Bay Area musicians that helped mentor him, featuring a 30-piece orchestra.

It is Thanksgiving morning in 2001, and San Francisco is a ghost town. In the early morning at Embarcadero Station, the platforms are empty except two people who, at that time, did not know this would be the start of the most unlikely romance and a marriage that would last the next 20 years.
BART’s schedule will change on Monday, February 14, 2022, with significant improvements to Sunday service. With this schedule change, BART will operate midnight service every night of the week.
