BAMPFA is the visual arts center of UC Berkeley that showcases various exhibitions, films, performances, lectures, and more. The El Cerrito Public Library is a small community library that has an assortment of over 36,000 items including books, DVDs, CDs, audio books, magazines and more. The César E. Chávez Branch Library was one of the first public libraries to have Spanish materials and be exclusively dedicated to serve the Spanish-speaking community in the United States. It has more than 56,000 books, CDs, newspaper, and other reading material for all ages.
