Every week, BARTable finds the most fun and unique events accessible by public transportation. From local sports to live music, there is plenty to do in the Bay Area this weekend. Catch a show at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, a baseball game at Raimondi Park, or sip on natural wine at the Wine Fare in SF. There's plenty to do at a BART station near you. Let's go!

Oakland Ballers v. RedPocket Mobiles
May 29-31 | West Oakland

Catch a baseball game in Oakland as the Ballers take on the RedPocket Mobiles at Raimondi Park. An independent professional baseball team competing in the Pioneer League, the Oakland Ballers deliver a community-centered sports experience for local baseball fans. Take BART to West Oakland, located just 0.9 miles from the ballpark. Walk or jump on the Ballers shuttle or AC Transit 29 bus to get you to the game.
Bay Area Book Festival

The Bay Area Book Festival brings more than 350 authors and thousands of book lovers to Berkeley for a full weekend of literary events, most of which are free to attend. Now in its 12th year, the festival lineup includes five headliner events, 15 free writers’ workshops, the Bookworm Block Party outdoor fair and programming across 21 stages packed with authors, activists and artists. Just take BART to Downtown Berkeley, and you’ll be within 0.2 miles of the main festival venues.
Oakland Roots v. Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC

Enjoy some soccer this weekend as the Oakland Roots face off against the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. The Roots have seen large turnouts at home games this year, as Bay Area soccer fans continue to support the team. Catch the action just 0.1 miles from the Coliseum BART Station.
Set on a Hollywood film shoot where the chaotic soundstage mimics the real-world climate crisis their big-budget movie addresses, the director, Maria, tries to keep her set – and herself – together in this sharp-witted, fast-paced comedy performed by the Shotgun Players. Take BART to Ashby, and the theater is 0.1 mile away.

Oakland Art Murmur 20th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrate two decades of art and community in the East Bay with Oakland Art Murmur’s anniversary block party. In addition to live music and immersive performers, enjoy hands-on art-making activities, light bites and wine. A community exhibition will showcase more than 100 East Bay Open Studios artists. The celebration is located 0.3 miles from 19th Street/Oakland.
Lakeshore Spring Festival

The inaugural Lakeshore Spring Festival features live music, outdoor dining, a kids zone, an artisan market and more. Celebrate Oakland’s Lakeshore District with community members at this family-friendly event. Arrive early for complimentary morning yoga and stay for the fashion show and other activities. The festival is located on Lakeshore Avenue, between Lake Park and Mandana, 0.9 miles from 19th Street/Oakland.
UEFA Champions League Final Game Viewing

Soccer fans around the world will be tuning in to the UEFA Champions League Final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal. While the highly anticipated match will take place in Budapest, Hungary, local fans can view the game live at this large watch party in San Francisco. Catch the action at The Crossing at East Cut, a lively community space in SoMa. Take BART to Embarcadero, and you’ll be 0.4 miles from the event.
MAUM Market at the Ferry Building

This curated pop-up celebrating Asian-owned small businesses spotlights artists, creatives and entrepreneurs. From fashion to ceramics and home goods, the market allows emerging and established makers to connect directly with the public. Alabama Shakes at the Greek Theatre

Alabama Shakes is an American rock band that has been entertaining audiences since its formation in 2009. Led by vocalist Brittany Howard, the band brings its soulful rock sound to Berkeley with two shows at the Hearst Greek Theatre. The concerts also feature special guest Nathaniel Rateliff. To get there, take BART to Downtown Berkeley, just 0.9 miles away from the theater.
Seven Lions at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium

Seven Lions, aka Jeff Motalvo, arrives in San Francisco for two shows this week. NOVA Summer Fashion Show

Wine Fare SF

A unique event for local wine lovers, Wine Fare features women who make and import natural wine. This year’s program includes 60 women from four countries pouring wines from locales including Australia, Mexico and California. Held at the Catherine Clark Gallery in San Francisco, this is an opportunity to explore the natural wine movement while supporting women in the industry. "Rock and Rolls" at the Asian Art Museum
