It's Memorial Day Weekend, so enjoy the sun at fun events near BART. The BARTmobile will make a special appearance at the Carnaval SF parade. It's also AAPI Cocktail Week, where you can try new drinks inspired and created by the AAPI community. Oakland will host its first Summer Stroll event in Old Oakland, featuring live music and local vendors and a friendly video game tournament is happening at the New Parkway Theater. We've got a long weekend ahead of us so grab your sunscreen and let's go!

San Francisco AAPI Cocktail Week returns with five days of dynamic events celebrating AAPI bars, bartenders and community. Free Community Day at SFMoMA will feature special programming and free access to the museum's latest exhibit.
The Old Oakland neighborhood will host its first Summer Stroll of the year on 9th St between Broadway and Washington Streets. The event will feature games, vendors and live music. This event is free and open to all ages, so take BART to 12th St. Oakland City Center to enjoy Downtown's newest event.
On Sunday, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMoMA) opens its doors for Free Community Day, giving visitors full access to the entire museum and to fun programming like a drag show and family crafting. This Free Community Day celebrates the new exhibit, Matisse’s Femme au chapeau: A Modern Scandal. Take BART into the city and get off at Montgomery St. The museum is 0.3 miles away.
The Walnut Creek Concert Band will host a free performance to honor those who served. This Memorial Day celebration will happen in Civic Park, 0.8 miles from Walnut Creek Station from 11 a.m. to noon.
