It's Memorial Day Weekend, so enjoy the sun at fun events near BART. The BARTmobile will make a special appearance at the Carnaval SF parade. It's also AAPI Cocktail Week, where you can try new drinks inspired and created by the AAPI community. Oakland will host its first Summer Stroll event in Old Oakland, featuring live music and local vendors and a friendly video game tournament is happening at the New Parkway Theater. We've got a long weekend ahead of us so grab your sunscreen and let's go!

BottleRock is BARTable! Vine Transit is again offering FREE shuttle service all weekend during BottleRock Napa Valley, helping concertgoers get to and from the shows safely and easily. No pass needed — just hop on any bus heading to the Soscol Gateway Transit Center in Napa and you’ll be steps from BottleRock! Coming from BART? Head to the El Cerrito del Norte station and transfer to Vine Transit at bus bay C6. Find more information here

The Oakland Ballers continue their opening week in the Pioneer League as they take on the Long Beach Coast this weekend at Raimondi Park. Take BART to West Oakland and walk 0.9 miles or jump on the Ballers shuttle or AC Transit 29 bus to the ballpark.

Now in its fourth decade of celebration, Carnaval San Francisco has been an opportunity for latin cultures to come together in one spirit to share their creative expressions. The free two-day family festival & Grand Parade in San Francisco’s Mission District will showcase the very best Latin American and Caribbean cultural arts and traditions. 24th St. Mission is the closest station to the parade route that takes place along Mission St from 24th to 16th. The festival takes place on Harrison St. between 24th and 17th Streets.

San Francisco AAPI Cocktail Week returns with five days of dynamic events celebrating AAPI bars, bartenders and community. The Old Oakland neighborhood will host its first Summer Stroll of the year on 9th St between Broadway and Washington Streets. The event will feature games, vendors and live music. This event is free and open to all ages, so take BART to 12th St. Oakland City Center to enjoy Downtown's newest event.
 
May 22 | Montgomery

On Sunday, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMoMA) opens its doors for Free Community Day, giving visitors full access to the entire museum and to fun programming like a drag show and family crafting. This Free Community Day celebrates the new exhibit, Matisse’s Femme au chapeau: A Modern Scandal. Take BART into the city and get off at Montgomery St. The museum is 0.3 miles away. 
 
May 25 | Walnut Creek Station
11 a.m.-12 p.m. | 1375 Civic Dr.

The Walnut Creek Concert Band will host a free performance to honor those who served. This Memorial Day celebration will happen in Civic Park, 0.8 miles from Walnut Creek Station from 11 a.m. to noon.
