This weekend, head to the East Bay to cheer on the Oakland Ballers at Raimondi Park. There are a few fun things happening — Friday is Filipino Heritage Night, Saturday the Ballers take the stage with Berkeley Rep and Sunday is a celebration of Jewish culture. Take BART to West Oakland. You can either walk 0.9 miles or jump on the Ballers shuttle or AC Transit 29 bus to Raimondi Park.
This free two-day festival in Yerba Buena Gardens, celebrating Filipino and Filipino-American culture through art, music, cuisine and cultural exhibits, is one of the Bay Area’s top attractions this weekend. Don’t miss the fun festivities 0.3 miles from Montgomery St.
The Magnolia Ballet follows four men — a son, a lover, an ancestor and a father — through a Southern Gothic landscape. This haunting tale, blending poetry and prose, is only 0.1 mile from Ashby.

The San Francisco Giants face the Washington Nationals this weekend at Oracle Park. Special themed giveaways include Saturday’s Aloha shirt and Sunday’s wrestling belt fanny pack.
