Looking for things to do this weekend? You’re in luck. There’s a packed lineup of BARTable events, activities and entertainment. Sports fans can cheer on the Cal Bears and the Golden State Warriors or even play golf at Oracle Park. Theatergoers have their choice of fantastic plays on both sides of the Bay. You can also dine during San Francisco Restaurant Week, tour the Paramount Theatre, shop at a vintage market, attend a free orchestra and so much more. There’s nothing quite like being in the middle of the football action. This weekend, cheer on the Cal Bears as they take on Syracuse at California Memorial Stadium. Catch the game 1.1 miles from Downtown Berkeley. Head east on Center St. and see this map for the most direct walking route. Alternatively, catch a free shuttle from Downtown Berkeley BART with drop-offs near the stadium. Service runs 2.5 hours before game time and continuously until one hour after kickoff. Service will resume at the start of the fourth quarter for postgame transportation.

"Kimberly Akimbo" at the Curran Theatre

"Kimberly Akimbo" is the winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. This new production is about growing up and growing old (in no particular order). Three-time Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello stars as Kimberly on the National Tour. Kimberly is about to turn 16 and recently moved with her family to a new town in suburban New Jersey. In this comedy, Kim is forced to navigate family dysfunction, a rare genetic condition, her first crush and possible felony charges. Lunar New Year Love Story

Afterwards, fall in love with The Four Seasons all over again through Max Richter’s mesmerizing reimagining of Vivaldi’s timeless masterpiece. The Giants’ premier golf event, Ballpark Back 9, is presented by The Bay Golf Club. For five days, Oracle Park transforms into an interactive one-of-a-kind 9-hole golf course. Tee boxes will be positioned in the most iconic ballpark locations as guests swing their way through 9 holes before ending the round at a 10th hole putting challenge. Take BART to Embarcadero and walk 1.2 miles, or transfer at Embarcadero to the Muni Metro N Line and pop out at the stadium. Learn more about taking BART to the game here.
