Don’t let the name fool you — The Butcher’s Son is 100% plant-based. This Berkeley favorite serves vegan comfort food, like “turkey” clubs and decadent mozzarella-stuffed “meatball” subs. Their bakery is also beloved around the Bay for their cakes and gooey cinnamon rolls. Family-owned and proudly nostalgic, the deli captures the old-school feel of a classic East Coast sandwich shop, but without the meat. Stop by for brunch or lunch.
