If you've been spending a lot of time at home lately, chances are you've been cooking more than usual and the thought of tackling a Thanksgiving feast may be, well... less than appetizing. Fortunately for you, we've found five restaurants in San Francisco and the East Bay cooking up everything from chicken liver mousse to vegan eggnog.

Daughter's Diner

Daughter's Diner is a new family/chef-owned restaurant in uptown Oakland. Chef Keven Wilson (previously at Michael Minna, Perbacco, RN74, Picco) wanted to create a community-driven restaurant providing a remarkable dining experience accessible to everyone. For Thanksgiving dinner pickup, the restaurant is offering a brined and roasted turkey breast and confit leg, roasted mushroom and green bean casserole with crispy fried shallots, pumpkin pie and much more. Order before Nov. 19 to pick up in time for Thanksgiving.

The Butcher's Son

One of the star restaurants of the vegan world is offering a full vegan feast this year including a one-pound turkey, sausage stuffing, shepherd's pie, plain or strawberry cheesecake, and eggnog. Or, order a la carte items such as the broccoli cheddar pot pie. Orders can be picked up in person from Nov. 15-24.

Rockridge Market Hall

Across the street from Rockridge Station in north Oakland, Rockridge Market Hall provides a one-stop, holiday shop experience. Food includes offerings such as a caramelized leek and winter squash quiche and a Fra' Mani sweet apple ham, apple crumble pie and pumpkin cheesecake, not to mention fresh fish and numerous wines and that's just the beginning! Pre-order by noon, two days before your desired pickup date. Additionally, if you're celebrating Chanukah, Rockridge Market Hall has everything you need for that too.

Café de la Presse

For the last 16 years, Café de la Presse has welcomed customers as family for Thanksgiving. This year you can bring the Café de la Presse spirit home with you. On the menu is roasted organic turkey, crispy Brussels sprouts, orange cranberry and apple pie Tatin, among many other dishes. Pre-order your Thanksgiving dinner by Monday, November 22 for takeout and pick it up on Wednesday, November 24.

Brenda's French Soul Food

Brenda coined the term “French Soul Food” to describe the personal style of cuisine she brings to the Bay Area. Her food conveys a soulful mixture of Southern, Creole and French cuisines presented in a down-home style and atmosphere. For Thanksgiving, leave the planning and shopping to them! Turkeys come brined and ready to roast with all the fixings, including butter-whipped potatoes, green beans with roasted garlic butter, and house-made jams. Order now for pickup on Tuesday, Nov. 23 and Wednesday, Nov. 24 from either their Oakland or San Francisco location.
