But a modern library is about a lot more than books. Take the Berkeley Central Library, just a block-and-a-half from Downtown Berkeley BART. Inside you’ll find film screenings, poetry readings, business seminars and more. The library hosts tons of kids’ events, including LEGO building the first Friday of every month.
