SF Fleet Week

More than one million people show up each year for Fleet Week, a pleasantly noisy display of aerial action. Biplanes, stunt pilots, parachutists and jets all convene over the Bay against a spectacular backdrop. Don’t be stuck in traffic watching the show from the Bay Bridge! Ride BART to the Embarcadero station and walk along the waterfront to find the best viewing spot or head southwest from the Pier and climb up your favorite hill to get a vantage point above the rest. Didn't bring your walking shoes? Grab the Muni F-Market & Wharves and head northwest until you hear the sonic booms.
