Upcoming: Track work to impact BART service on select weekends
BART will be making major repairs on the track and other infrastructure between 19th Street/Oakland and West Oakland stations on several weekends in August and September, including Labor Day weekend.
AC Transit will provide free bus service between the stations. The trip should take 10 to 15 minutes.
Trains in the East Bay will run at least every 20 minutes on the Richmond to Warm Springs/South Fremont, and the Antioch to Dublin/Pleasanton lines. All transfers, including to the bus for service to West Oakland (to catch trains to San Francisco and the West Bay), should be made at 19th Street/Oakland Station. The West Bay service to Daly City will be every 10 minutes and to SFO/Millbrae every 20 minutes.
The work is planned for the following dates:
- Aug. 4 and 5
- Aug. 25 and 26
- Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 1, 2 and 3
- Sept. 22 and 23
If the work can be finished early, the final weekend of service modification will be canceled. BART will post this information on the website and through social media.
Please be aware there will be limited parking at West Oakland during these weekends.
BART will stage equipment and supplies on 4th Street between Washington Street and Martin Luther King Way. There will be lights and noise during the work weekends.
This work is made possible through voter-approved Measure RR bond funds. We know that this work will temporarily inconvenience you. We appreciate your patience.
