Where to eat after the Warriors Parade

After the Warriors parade and rally, it's going to be crowded going home. Luckily, the festivities will be in the heart of downtown Oakland. Consider lingering until the crowd dissipates and try one of these BARTable eateries nearby.

Drake's Dealership

Drake's Dealership

Drakes Dealership is located at 2325 Broadway in Oakland, a 6-minute walk from 19th St./Oakland Station.

Because we can’t get enough of string lights, fire pits, exposed brick walls and, yes, roof beams without a roof. What was once part of a Dodge dealership is now dealing pizzas, Drake’s brews, and a buzzing big crowd — day or night, in Uptown Oakland.

Woods Bar and Brewery

Though Woods Beer Co. has expanded to San Francisco and Treasure Island, their Uptown Oakland location is where the magic happens. The taproom is large and includes a beer garden with requisite fire pits and plenty of interesting (Yerba Mate!) house-brewed beers to bring you back. Empanadas, live music on weekends, and a polished atmosphere than the average taproom make the place more than just a space to drink beer.

Swans Market

Miss ollie's

Swan's Market is located at 538 9th St. in Oakland, a 7-minute walk from 12th St./Oakland City Center BART.

Swan’s Market is a grown-up version of your local mall’s food court. Instead of a slice of pizza or a hot dog on a stick, it offers fried oyster po boys, pork belly tacos and tuna sashimi. Try oysters at The Cook and her Farmer, fish tacos at Cosecha, sashimi at AS B-Dama or fried chicken at Miss Ollies.

Temescal Brewing

If you find yourself in Temescal, enjoy the sunshine at this outdoor spot near MacArthur BART Station. This bright, sunny brewery in Oakland’s Temescal District offers a great selection of seasonal sours and saisons, in addition to the typical assortment of ales and stouts. Lots of rotation and lots of fun flavors to sample with free popcorn. Bring a group of people and hang out in the large outdoor patio. Every day brings a different food truck, so check their website if you’re curious about the day’s offering.

Peony Seafood Restaurant

Dim Sum from Peony Seafood Restaurant. Peony Seafood Restaurant is located at 388 9th St. Ste 288 in Oakland, a 5-minute walk from 12th St./Oakland City Center Station.

You’ll find classic banquet tables dressed in white linen and a crowded fish tank at Peony Seafood Restaurant in Oakland’s Chinatown, a quick walk from 12th St./Oakland City Center BART Station. Order from passing carts or off the picture menu to enjoy siu mai, egg custard tarts and all the standards.

Souley Vegan

Souely Vegan is located at 301 Broadway, Oakland, a 10-minute walk from 12th St/Oakland City Center Station.

Did someone say meatless barbecue? At Oakland’s Souley Vegan, such tasty delights are no joke. Pairing Louisiana-style soul food with occasional live bands, Oakland’s vegan creole experience gets a lot of hype for its barbecue and fried morsels. Southern fried tofu, seitan and veggies hit the hot oil to hit the spot alongside sauteed greens and vegan versions of mac ‘n’ cheese, biscuits and gravy, and more. All in a homey music-loving locale that makes for a dining experience that’s music to many ears and mouths.

Tamarindo and The Trappist

Tamarindo Antojeria Mexicana
All this celebrating got you thirsty? Land at Oakland City Center/12th St. Station and walk three blocks to have a margarita. But not just any margarita. We suggest the tart and tasty tamarind puree margarita at Tamarindo Antojeria Mexicana, alongside some Mexican plates. Afterwards, grab a nightcap at The Trappist next door, where your choice of fine American and Belgian-style brews seems infinite at this hip watering hole that sports two bars.
