Don’t miss a chance to shop till you drop at the Jack of All Trades Market, located at Jack London Square. With nearly 100 vendors selling unique, locally made antiques, art, and ornaments, it’s a great way to hunt for something that catches your eye while supporting your community. With the beautiful view of the Oakland Inner Harbor in the background, enjoy scrumptious foods from the many restaurants in Jack London, or go trendy with local, Oakland-based food trucks.

The market is BARTable as well. By arriving at the 12th Street/Oakland City Center BART Station, you can reach the market by walking for 14 minutes.

And did someone say free stuff? Jack of All Trades has a monthly raffle where you can win great prizes. Keep up-to-date on the latest contests and enter to win on the Jack of All Trades Facebook page. And at the market, go to the Jack of All Trades booth to enter a raffle for a Hawaii vacation package valued at $1,500.

“The Jack of All Trades Market is the only year-round event at Jack London that promotes local entrepreneurship,” event organizer Charles Ansanelli says. “Vendors use sustainable methods to reuse and refurbish old objects into artistic products, and it’s just a great way for the community to get together.”

The Jack of All Trades Market is on every second Saturday of the month.
