If you can’t have a pet due to city schedule or housing restraints (and let’s face it, that’s most of us), this is a sweet way to satiate your inner pet addict craving some cuddles. At Muttville, man’s best friend could use your loyalty and friendship. San Francisco’s nonprofit senior dog rescue pampers elder pups 7 and older who’ve been abandoned and nurtures them until they find a new home. Volunteers walk and tend to the resident canines at the headquarters and staff fundraising events. Beware of falling in love; you may end up wanting to take a pup home with you after your shift.
