BARTable This Weekend: Sept. 30-Oct. 1

This most recent heat wave is winding down and people have begun to venture outside again from their cold, dark hiding places searching for new, fun BARTable destinations. Never fear, BARTable is here with our top weekend picks.

In San Francisco, head out to the Autumn Moon Festival on Saturday and Sunday for two days of nonstop entertainment, food, shopping, dragon parades, cultural events, children's activities and more.

The Sunday Streets finale has reached Excelsior, just an 11-minute walk from the Balboa Park station. Enjoy fun, free activites offered by local merchants the whole family can get behind.

And if you've been saving up a trip to the Asian Art Museum, Sunday is the day to go. As part of Free Admission Day, the museum is offering complimentary entry on the first Sunday of each month, a $15 value.

In the East Bay, take BART to San Leandro station for the 2017 Sausage & Suds Music Festival. There will be plenty of sausages and quite a few suds sloshing about as this event attracts thousands of people annually.

That's all for now, but be sure to check in next week for our next edition of BARTable This Weekend.
