BARTable This Weekend: Nov. 3-5

Happy Friday BARTablers!

Put some Rebecca Black on the ol' turntable, sit down with a hot cup of spiced cider and peruse our weekly list of the best BARTable events this weekend.

Starting things off in the East Bay on Friday, keep the Día de los Muertos celebrations going with "Metamorphosis & Migration: Days of the Dead" at the Oakland Museum of California. The exhibition is centered around the lifecyle of the Monarch Butterfly and its representation in Mexico. "Luna Mexicana" also takes place on Friday in Oakland. Festive dancing, colorful costumes and vibrant music are all a part of this event. In Berkeley, see the feisty Flory flourish in a garden ripe with dangers in the children's play, "The Night Fairy" at the Bay Area Children's Theatre.

Embrace the cooler weather by trying ice skating this weekend. There are three rinks (two in SF and one in Walnut Creek) you can take BART to. Check out opening day Friday night at the Embarcadero Center rink and enjoy the unusual combination of ice skating with palm trees as your backdrop. And if you act fast you can be entered to win admission tickets for the whole family.

Also in SF, "Couture Korea" is on exhibition at the Asian Art Museum, jazz trio, the Bad Plus wrap up their final tour and Disney's "Aladdin" is at the Orpheum.

As always, tag us in your weekend fun by using #sfbartable on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
