It's an important weekend in the Bay for the Faithful as they watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Minnesota Vikings in an NFC Divisional Playoff game on Saturday. Can't make it to Levi's Stadium? No worries, there are watch parties that are BARTable. Not interested in football? We have you covered. There are plenty of events like ice skating, Oakland Chinatown's Lunar New Year Bazaar, and learning more about why the Bay has the King Tide. Keep reading on for what's BARTable this weekend.

Friday BARTable This Weekend by BART

Join the Exploratorium and Port of San Francisco Staff on the waterfront at 10am on Friday (or Saturday at 10:45am) to observe, photograph and discuss the King Tide. Learn what causes the tides, why we have King Tides this time of year, and the Port's Waterfront Resilience Program projects. This event is free, does not include admission to the Exploratorium and will meet rain or shine. Take BART to Embarcadero and walk 10-minutes to meet between Piers 3 and 5 on the Bay side of the Embarcadero. 
 
 
Walk the labyrinth by candlelight and music while praying for peace in our hearts and world at the Grace Cathedral from 6-8pm. Every month, the Cathedral offers an introduction to the labyrinth and features a live musician. Take BART to Powell St and walk 19 minutes to Grace Cathedral. 
 
OACC Movie Nights | Nailed It by 12th St/Oakland City Center 
 
In virtually every city, state and strip mall across the US, women get their nails done in salons likely owned by Vietnamese entrepreneurs. How did this community come to dominate an $8 billion nail economy? Nailed It takes viewers from Los Angeles to the Bronx to meet the diverse people and relationships behind this booming and enigmatic trade. Uncover the real history of the Vietnamese nail salon at this free showing at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center beginning at 7pm and stay after for a Q&A session with the filmmaker, Adele Free Pham. The event is free but please RSVP online. Take BART to 12th St/Oakland City Center and walk six minutes to the Center. 
 
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot by 19th St/Oakland
 
Kevin Smith comes to the Fox Oakland to show his latest and greatest motion picture, the star-studded Jay and Silent Bob Reboot! The icons first hit the screen 25 years ago in Clerks are back. When Jay and Silent Bob discover that Hollywood is rebooting an old movie based on them, the clueless duo embark on another cross-country mission to stop it all over again. Tickets begin at $35 and are available online. Take BART to 19th St/Oakland and walk five minutes to Fox Oakland.

Oakland Chinatown Lunar New Year Bazaar by 12th St/Oakland City Center 
 
The 29th Annual Oakland Chinatown Lunar New Year Bazaar is Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm in the heart of Chinatown (between 9th St and Franklin). Celebrate the Year of the Rat with free live cultural entertainment, over 80 vendors, and fun for the whole family. Take BART to 12th St/Oakland City Center and walk five minutes to Chinatown. 
 
49ers Watch Party at SPIN by Montgomery St
 
Can't make it to Levi's Stadium for the Vikings vs 49ers game? Have no fear! Fans will be treated to Levi's Stadium likeness with official team chants, scoring songs and more at SPIN's 49ers Watch Party. Join other Faithful and watch the NFC Divisional Playoff at this free party that includes raffles and prizes. All ages are welcome and entry is first come, first served beginning at 12:30pm. Take BART to Montgomery St and walk 10 minutes to SPIN.
 
SoMa StrEat Food Park 49ers Watch Party by Civic Center/UN Plaza
 
Throw on your lucky jersey, smear some paint under your eyes, grab a pitcher of craft beer, and cheer on the Niners with crave-worthy game day eats and six big-screen TVs blasting every, hit, fumble, run, and touchdown! Get ready to get loud at the SoMa StrEat Food Park 49ers Watch Party, a 15-minute walk from Civic Center/UN Plaza. Admission is free and all ages are welcome. Party begins at 1pm. 
 
Sunday BARTable This Weekend by BART

The Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square is wrapping up in San Francisco's iconic plaza. From families to friends to coworkers, everyone can enjoy this outdoor ice-skating experience. This San Francisco holiday tradition is at Union Square until January 20 and is only a three-minute walk from Powell St station. Tickets start at $13 and are available online.
 
Heart of the City Farmers' Market by Civic Center/UN Plaza
 
Check out nearly 30 local farmers and artisan food vendors at the Heart of the City Farmers' Market in San Francisco's United Nations Plaza from 7am-5pm, rain or shine. With a wide selection of fresh local produce, farm products, bakery items, pastas, hummus and kettle corn, there's something for everyone. Take BART to Civic Center/UN Plaza and walk two minutes to the Plaza.
 
No Pants BART Ride Day by All Stations
 
So, we know this is a thing and yes, it's real. We are here to give our readers a head's up that if you're riding the trains on Sunday and see people without pants on, they're participating in No Pants BART Ride Day.
