BARTable This Weekend: Aug. 26-27

The end of the week is once again nigh, so we've compiled a list of the best happenings that are all easily accessible by BART.
In Oakland, experience one of the largest Asian American festivals in the United States with the Chinatown StreetFest. Consisting of more than 200 booths, the festival will span nine to ten blocks of Chinatown. Lake Merritt will play host to great BBQ and beer on Saturday with the 2nd annual Pints at the Park. Come out to see who is crowned with the honor of best beer and best bbq in the Bay.
In San Francisco, if serenity is what you're after, head to Balboa Park for a stroll through meadows and grasslands. Looking to brush up on your Italian cooking knowledge? Meet Chef Evan Allumbaugh of Flour + Water at the Ferry building for a free cooking demo.
And in Berkeley, if you love chocolate as much as we do, you won't miss the Chocolate & Chalk Art Festival this Sunday in North Berkeley's Gourmet Ghetto. There will be chocolate in all shapes and sizes, including picante habanero chocolate gelato and chocolate chicken tikka kabobs. Artists will also be taking to the sidewalks to create elaborate chalk drawings.
Explore all this and more in this week’s edition of BARTable This Weekend.
