Luna Mexicana | Oakland Ballet Company

A dance and music celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). This family-friendly performance is filled with spirited dancing, live music, colorful costumes and a festive atmosphere.

This year’s "Luna Mexicana" program will include the world premiere of "Viva la Vida!" — a new ballet celebrating the life and singular artistic vision of Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, created by Artistic Director Graham Lustig in collaboration with Martín Romero, artistic director of Ballet Folklórico México Danza.

Running time is 90 minutes with a 15-minute intermission. Doors open 60 minutes before show time.
